I am amazed at how fast the first year has past since the opening of this amazing mountain top museum. There have been thousands of visitors since the doors were opened in April, 2008.  I certainly hope you were one of them. If not, this website gives you a sense of history, from the early days beginning with Captain Cook to the present, that is  being presented for all to enjoy. I hope you will be able to come visit soon.

There are many opportunities for you to participate with the museum. Ongoing projects such as the "Sock Hop" fundraiser, on Saturday, May 16th.; reviewing photos and newspaper clippings dating back to the mid 1950's; assisting Mr. Girdwood's grandson with an historical DVD; updating photos or volunteering as a greeter and so much more!
